In the dictionary, the word ‘almost’ means: nearly, about, approaching, close to, virtually, practically, roughly, all but, just about not quite, on the brink of, not far from, approximately, well-nigh, as good as. In this exhibition, Lucile Bertrand will present artworks that are never exactly what they look like. The artist seeks to question the meaning and interpretation that can be given to an image.

Also, the exhibition will be 'almost' in black and white but a few touches of color will brighten it up.

本展示のテーマ‘Almost’ は、曖昧でありながら確かに存在する世界を表現します。

Lucile Bertrand は、本展示が緩やかに鑑賞者に向けて、個々の視覚体験から呼び覚まされる感覚を新たな体験として積み重ねていく機会となることを願っています
